Vintage Ancient Egyptian Heart of Scarab Black & Gold Beaded Pendant Necklace. Palm Beach Estate Sale Find. DESCRIPTION: This is an antique ancient Egyptian carved beetle scarab pendant necklace. Necklace has a large carved ancient beetle scarab with hieroglyphs on the back, see photos. Pendant measures 2 inches long and 1 5/16 wide. Beaded necklace measures 24 inches. Black beads are heavy, not plastic, my guess is they are glass. There are gold bead accents and 2 cylinder shaped that look like bamboo or wood but feel like a carved heavier (maybe also glass) material.
