In the wake of the devastating flooding, countless families in Maiduguri, Borno State, have been left vulnerable, their lives turned upside down. Unified Culture Promotion Foundation (UNICPF), in collaboration with GHIV, has stepped forward to address one of the most pressing concerns—nutrition.
At Sheikh Sheriff Ibrahim camp, we are conducting Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) screenings to identify and support children at risk of malnutrition. With the floodwaters receding, the scars left on these communities are not just physical but deeply emotional. We are committed to ensuring that no child goes hungry or suffers the long-term effects of malnutrition, providing timely interventions and hope to those in need.
